100% correct, I just wanted to point out that while it's obvious they're failing according to our standards, I think they're failing by their own standards too.

I've always appreciated the decentralized nature of fandom. Like the internet itself. Anyone can start an archive, a LiveJournal, whatever, and this is good for fans.

If I set out to "revolutionize fandom" according to my desires, it would be easy. In fact, it's so easy I can do it right now:
