100% correct, I just wanted to point out that while it's obvious they're failing according to our standards, I think they're failing by their own standards too.
I've always appreciated the decentralized nature of fandom. Like the internet itself. Anyone can start an archive, a LiveJournal, whatever, and this is good for fans.
