[identity profile] telesilla.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] life_wo_fanlib
[livejournal.com profile] stewardess has already posted to the Fandom Wank post about the FanLib ferfluffle, but I've found a few other funny things.

Based on the FanLib Pink Guy/Blue Dude & Mexican Wrestler ads, [livejournal.com profile] lizbee has written hilarious...yes you guessed it: Pink Guy/Blue Dude slash."

Back when this began to hit the fan, [livejournal.com profile] debra_tabor put up an amusing poll about the issue.

If you've seen anything funny that I've missed, please link it in the comments. One of fandom's traditional ways of coping with idiots is to laugh at them and it's good to see we're managing it now. :)

FanLib: Actually has standards?

Okay, looks like FanLib may have actually blocked a story. The story was Pink Guy, Blue Guy fic, totally for all ages, and PARODY. Even marked as such. However I'm being told that the fic has been blocked by a moderator.

Apparently FanLib is okay with using other people's IP, just not using THEIRS.

I don't like being underground. How about if I just hang out in ditches instead?

Use fandom related allusions. These people know nothing about fandom. If we are a little bit obscure, we can get all kinds of messages past them. We understand analogy and everything!

I'm dying here. That's hysterically funny.

That's so ironic I won't have to bother with my mineral supplements for at least a week. [huge eyeroll]

They obviously didn't take [livejournal.com profile] darkrosetiger's advice; they're still digging.
